1. FreedomEx announces USD, CAN & EUR fiat trading

Steem based smart media exchange FreedomEx has announced a partnership with Netcoins to provide a fiat gateway service that will allow deposits and withdrawals through STEEM/USD, STEEM/CAD and STEEM/EUR trading pairs.


2. NextColony launches on 21 April

New Steem space game NextColony has set it launch date as 21 April.

It has also released more details about the drop rate of planets.


3. Steem accounts can now be purchased with PayPal

@steem.ninja has added PayPal as a payment method for purchasing instant Steem accounts.

Accounts cost US$ 2.50 and include a 15 SteemPower delegation for 90 days.


4. Everything about SwapSteem & the SWEET’Drop

SwapSteem is a peer-to-peer, no custodian exchange platform built on the Steem blockchain. It has now posted a full description of how it works and its fee structure.

The platform has also begun the airdrop of its SWEET token.


5. Win a copy of Steemhouse Publishing’s debut novel

@steemhousepub is running a contest to win an ebook copy of their first novel ‘High Kill’ by Diane Ryan.


6. Clean Planet launches CLEAN token

Steem eco-project Clean Planet has launched its own token on Steem-Engine.

The CLEAN token will be used to raise funds, to reward delegators and, most importantly, to reward eco-citizens taking Clean Planet actions to clear up rubbish.


7. Dlike prepares for first IEO

@dlike starts its first initial exchange offering (IEO) with IDCM exchange Korea on 8 April.

They are offering DLIKE tokens for people helping to promote the platform.


8. DLease featured on Cryptocompare & Cryptoglobe

Buildteam’s SteemPower leasing platform @dlease has been featured on crypto news site Cryptoglobe and also syndicated to the Cryptocompare news feed.


9. Homesteaders Co-op March sales up 13%

Steem’s leading ethical ecommerce site Homesteaders Co-op has released its sales report for March.

March saw total sales of US$ 234 equivalent, up 13% on February. The sales split was $60 as STEEM, $25 as SBD and $150 as USD. The average order value was $12.32.
